Writing - Answer This GED Essay Prompt on Your Blog by Tuesday
What one experience has significantly changed your life for the better? Why? Use specific examples from your personal knowledge, experiences and observations to support your answer. Try to respond in about 250 words and/or five paragraphs, including an introduction, body and conclusion. Use the chart from my October 30 post to this blog for structural guidelines if you find them helpful. Remember, your writing will be scored holistically, not exclusively focused on punctuation or grammar

The most valueable leason i learned in my life is to never depend on people. The reason why is because people will let u down everytime. Most people rely on people for many different things in life. As far as money, transportation and many other things. So people may not have a choice to be dependant on people. But those who can help it try not to,being indepent can help u in many different ways. It helps u become a responsible person that will help you in more ways than one.You also can save alot of time that can be used towards other things. Being a responsible person can carry u a long way in life people would look at u different, for example u were at a job a there was an opening for an higher level that u was interested in they would take it under cosideration that u were a responsible person an a good canidate for the job. That all comes back to not being dependant on people do things on your on an building a good image for yourself

Jamisha,
Your observations ring true! Think about a time that one person let another down, and tell that story very briefly and specifically in the post too. Make sure you relate it directly to the essay question being asked. Replace u with you when you go on your blog tonight too. Return to the question to refocus. It asks "What one experience has significantly changed your life for the better. Why?"
