The song as we lay to me talks about how a married lady and man steps out of there relationship to have an affair with each other.Not thinking about how there actions would affect other people in there lives.After spending one night together they relize that they have spent to much time together and have to go home to explain themself to there significant other.

I like your plain, no nonsense approach to answering the question in the assignment. Watch out for the differences between words that sound the same but have different meanings like "there" and "their". While the GED scores do not take off too much for spelling in general, they can reduce a score if the mispelled word actually means something else (like "to" and "too").
To make this piece of initial work even stronger, I'd suggest incorporating an observation from the movies, a book you read, or real life, that ties in with the subject of the song.
